House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says the lower chamber is “ready” if the election between President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden ends up disputed and in the hands of Congress.
What are the details?
NPR‘s Ari Shapiro asked Pelosi on Monday, “Let’s talk about what might happen in the election tomorrow because there are a lot of dire scenarios if the vote does not produce a decisive result. Some of those scenarios involve you as the speaker of the House. Are you confident in the resilience of American democratic systems to handle a contested election if it comes to that?”
“Our country is a great country,” the speaker replied. “We’re even great enough to survive one term of Donald Trump. Two terms would be such a serious setback that I worry for our country.”
“But what if the outcome is disputed?” Shapiro pressed. “What if this is being fought in the courts or there is a constitutional crisis? I mean, there are all kinds of scenarios, and in some of them, the speaker of the House plays a prominent role.”
“And the speaker of the House is ready for that prominent role,” Pelosi responded. “But let’s not worry about that right now.
“We’re ready. We’re prepared,” she continued. “We’ve been ready for a while because we see this irresponsibility of the president, his disrespect for the Constitution, for our democracy, and for the integrity of our elections. So we’re ready for him.”
Pelosi added, “What we want to be ready for is a big vote tomorrow to dispel any thought other than that, on January 20, Joe Biden will be inaugurated president of the United States, that we will have a Democratic House and a Democratic Senate.”

The Hill reported that “should the presidential election not present a clear winner by electoral vote, then it is up to the House to choose the next president.”
An article by 270towin.com explains that if neither Trump nor Biden is able to secure 270 electoral votes, “the election for President is decided in the House of Representatives, with each state delegation having one vote. A majority of states (26) is needed to win. Senators would elect the Vice-President, with each Senator having a vote. A majority of Senators (51) is needed to win.”

At this point, the GOP controls 26 of the 50 state delegations. That will likely increase tonight. And I do not see the Democrats holding on to a majority.

We have had enough of politically correct, presidential politicians that are in their positions for two reasons. Power and money.
They are parasites. The progressives live in a bubble surrounded by like minded radical leftists. Remember, Adolf Hitler was a progressive socialist and look what that movement turned into. Look at Cuba and Venezuela. Perfect examples of what will not work. Their leaders turned into blood thirsty tyrants. That is exactly what will eventually happen with progressive leadership. If the progressives get in power America as we know it will never be the same. That is why this is the most important election in American history. You vote for free enterprise capitalism or you vote for socialism. Karl Marx said socialism is the first step to communism. That’s what the progressives really want in the long run. One world communist government with elites on one side and the rest of us slaves. Think about it!!
The reason the dems have been ready is because it is their party that has been planning to contest in the event of a Trump win. They’ve advised Biden to not concede no matter what. They’ll accuse Trump of cheating no matter what size of lead he may take. And they’ll claim millions of mail-in ballots didn’t get counted, all so they can delay the Electoral College beyond their deadline. And they have no plans of electing Biden in the House, because the Senate will elect Pence as VPOTUS; they need a tie in the House to delay until Jan 20. Then Pelosi is sworn in as temporary POTUS and nominates her choice for VPOTUS.
But that’s just their contingency plan, after all they do have the NPVIC going for them and they’ve got plenty of ‘friends’ tallying votes for them. It’ll be interesting to learn how many total votes are cast vs. the number of registered voters.

Pelosi is right…“Our country is a great country”. It’s this way because Donald Trump has been our President. As for setbacks…the greatest setback would be allowing Nancy Pelosi and the House democrats anywhere near being part of the decision making. Their decision would be to take the Presidency lock, stock and barrel. Get out and vote today for the President, so this doesn’t happen.
“His irresponsibility, Disrespect for the constitution and the integrity of our elections”. However they NEVER actually say what he has done that is responsible for these accusations. Yet everything she just accused Trump of there are multiple occasions of democrats malfeasance. The Russian probe, the way 2 of Trumps judicial appointees were treated, and Now all the mail in voting which will do nothing to enhance election integrity and was only to to game the system by cheating and democrats know it full well. They are in affect a bunch of damn socialist who want to wreck our government and country and are committed to only themselves and the swamp they live in.
What’s bothers me the most, is the Speaker-of-the House, Queen Pelosi. She continues to state that the current President, President Trump, knows nothing about the Bill of Rights or the Constitution, when it’s her and the Democratic Party who has no idea what is written in those documents, and if they do know, the come back is usually that the founding fathers didn’t know what they were doing. Queen Pelosi, who seems to know the founding father’s mind, must have been living in the early 1800’s, damn, that would make her around 200 years old. No wonder she has no idea about the things around her, they weren’t invented way back then, and the Queen refuses to live for today and tomorrow. Remember when she was running around the Capital taking down pictures of former “Confederates” a few months ago, almost every one of them belonged to the Democratic Party. What was she hiding? Maybe. just maybe, she has realized that the current Democratic Party is just like the “old” Democratic Party of the KKK, Jim Crow laws, and anti-Civil Rights. The Party never grew, they just got worst. Oh, who as a Senator, voted and favored the “old” ideas of the original Democratic Party, none other than former VP “Bunker” Biden.
