According to a Fox News poll released late Thursday evening, voters in both parties support an investigation by the Justice Department into Hunter Biden’s business dealings with foreign governments.
According to Fox News Digital, “Recent revelations about social media companies tamping down the story in the run-up to the 2020 election have not changed voters’ opinions — just as many feel it is important to investigate Hunter Biden now as they did this past August.”
“Nearly three-quarters of voters (72%) think it is important for the Justice Department to investigate the younger Biden’s business dealings with foreign governments — unchanged from the 72% who felt that way in August,” a Fox poll found. “That includes majorities of Republicans (88%), independents (74%), and Democrats (54%).”
However, Republicans and Democrats polled differ on whether investigations into Hunter Biden will uncover anything of substance. 70 percent of Republicans agree that Hunter Biden committed crimes in his business dealings with Ukraine and China, and 63 percent of Republicans believe President Joe Biden committed a crime during his involvement in his son’s activities.
In comparison, Only 11 percent of Democrats believe Hunter Biden committed any crimes and only eight percent think so of Joe Biden.
“Overall, 39% think Hunter Biden committed a crime, 31% say he did something unethical but not illegal and 19% believe he did nothing seriously wrong,” Fox News found. While “the numbers are fairly similar for President Biden: 35% say he committed a crime, 27% think he acted unethically but not illegally and 31% feel he did nothing wrong.”
Since this poll was released on Fox News.com at 6 pm Thursday, it was only a half hour before the three networks (ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, & NBC Nightly News were set to air. Therefore it would be unfair for NewsBusters to call them out for ignoring the poll.
The question remains, will the networks eventually cover this poll? Probably not considering the narrative that’s been set that only Republicans care about Hunter Biden’s crimes. This poll has set another leftist media narrative crumbling to the ground.
