UNREAL: Microsoft Feature Will Let Employers Monitor Work Activity

Breaking News

A new feature in Microsoft will provide employers with increased visibility on employee browsers.

The feature is aimed at “insider risk management,” where employers are able to monitor online employee actions online. The compliance center will be compatible with Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

“Web browsers are often used by users to access both sensitive and non-sensitive files within an organization,” the Microsoft “Compliance Center” explains.

In light of this, the Center will review “files copied to personal cloud storage, files printed to local or network devices, files transferred or copied to a network share, files copied to USB devices.”
