A few months back, several counties in far-left Oregon began an effort to secede from the state and become part of Idaho.
Now they have voted for it. It’s not a done deal yet, but they are off to a strong start.
These are simply people who are tired of being associated with the radical left-wing politics of Portland.

Oregon counties vote to secede to Idaho
Voters in five rural Oregon counties approved measures on Tuesday to consider joining the state of Idaho, a part of a long-shot grassroots movement to break with a state dominated by liberal voters west of the Cascade Mountains.
Voters in Malheur, Sherman, Grant, Baker and Lake counties all approved measures that would require county officials to take steps to promote moving the Idaho border west to incorporate their populations…
They join two other rural counties — Jefferson and Union — whose voters approved measures promoting a move to Idaho last year.
The local measures are backed by Move Oregon’s Border for a Greater Idaho, a local organization that wants to grow Idaho west and south into some counties in Northern California.
“This election proves that rural Oregon wants out of Oregon. If Oregon really believes in liberal values such as self-determination, the Legislature won’t hold our counties captive against our will,” said Mike McCarter, a conservative activist who heads the group. “If we’re allowed to vote for which government officials we want, we should be allowed to vote for which government we want as well.”
The government of Oregon has ignored these people for years. Who can blame them for wanting to leave?

That is why we have a WEST Virginia and so YES they can and will move to Idaho and frankly a good portion of CA as well as we are sick and tired of communist democrats thinking they can own us when in reality they are OUR HIRED HELP and we are the BOSS but so many were ill educated by the democrat party and know little about our Republic and who is the BOSS (us) and not those hired to a position which does not make them gods but lousy employees. Time to kick butts to the curb and make the decisions as the BOSS what we want and will do whether the hired help like it or not. Reality is growing daily in many states so we have the choice of entering into other states we like or forming new states and increasing the number of states we have. Yes, we can and we must so stop whining and ready to take back our states or move yourselves to those states that keep you as prisoners.
Would love to excise shitcago from the state of ILLinois, but they could never support themselves. Be better to build walls around chi town, l.a., new york, portland, seattle, minneapolis, and detroit and make them ALL new federal prisons. After that, start making new free states by cutting out the commie lovers into their own states and force them to support themselves. Make it so they have basically NO representation in washington (need a wall there, too) to push their anti-American schemes

Meanwhile, Idaho is all, “As long as they leave a buffer zone between Portland and the state border we’ll consider it.”
If these Oregon counties succeed, eastern Washington won’t be far behind.
One thing I’d point out is that Oregon has had vote-By-Mail for many years now. The consensus is that the only GOP, or other ‘independent’ people who get voted into office are in rural areas where, (at least where I used to live), the drop boxes for the mail-in ballots are usually located in city, or county offices, that have someone there to monitor the boxes. There are many of us in the Portland area, (thankfully outside city limits), who totally disagree with the no respect, lack of manners, radical left. We’ve also used the dominion machines. Nuff said?
