That would be done, of course, only in the interests of national unity.
If we manage to escape from this shockingly authoritarian idea, it won’t be because the leaders of the Democratic Party think there is anything intrinsically wrong with the use of government power to silence their critics. They don’t. Unlike older Democrats like, oh, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, they have no qualms about “winning” in politics through the use of coercion.

Years ago, I said climate change would be leveraged by the democrats to criminalize political dissent. Now that attempt is in full swing. The communist donkeys know that their radical utopian socialist agenda cannot survive normal scrutiny, criticism, or dissent, so they try to criminalize dissent.
Rest assured, there are going to be reeducation camps for climate change dissenters in our future. Those will be expanded to include punishment/reprogramming for any and all opposition to the globalist agenda.
Since most of the media and academia support and promote this, there is almost no hope of successfully opposing the communist agenda in a significant way. For some reason, bad ideas keep reinvigorating themselves no matter how many times they fail, and often require the sacrifice of millions of lives to stop them.
