A video has surfaced of the “innocent teen boy” who was killed in an officer involved shooting in DC on Wednesday.
The video is from 18-year-old Deon Kay’s Instagram page, which is now inactive.
It features two young men, Kay and a masked friend, pointing guns at the camera.
Immediately after the shooting, with almost no details available, Black Lives Matter was protesting and throwing tantrums in the street about the “teenage boy” who had lost his life.
It turns out, at approximately 3:51 p.m., uniformed police officers responded to a call to investigate a man in a vehicle with a gun. When they arrived, they found four people in the vehicle. Two of them fled, including Kay.
During the chase, Kay brandished a firearm.
At this point, an officer fired one single shot, hitting Kay. The suspect was transported to the hospital for treatment, but it was unsuccessful.
A photo of his gun has been released by the police department:
The two people who remained in the vehicle, Marcyelle Smith and Deonte Brown, were arrested.
Smith, 19, also had a handgun. He was charged with carrying a pistol without a license.
The other suspect who fled with Kay has not yet been apprehended.
The DC Metropolitan Police is expected to release body camera footage of the incident on Thursday morning.

People want police reform. I think we need societal reform especially when interacting with police.
Yes, right, there is societal reform needed to stop this nonsense.

Maybe a few more black fathers staying home and teaching their children about authority and self discipline. I know of a school teachers who said every time she tells a black kid to be quite or set down they bow up on her and get a smart. They need a father not a sperm donor and receptacle.
They are just what the Democrat party has spent the last 60 creating. No selp pride and loosers. To bad LBJ had to use them as a political pawn back in the day, otherwise they might be a whole different bunch of people today. There are some that have turned out to be really great people despite what the Dems tried.

Absolutely right! If there was dedicated positive home training so many of these kids would think before acting. As to fathers staying home to provide a positive male image, do we really want these miscreants staying home to teach their kids the same criminal attitudes that they espouse?
Look, when two individuals are pointing two guns at you, you are going to react and shoot at the threat to try nd preserve your life. You do not ask for proof of age.
If ordered by the law to “halt” and the subject runs or attempts to evade capture or arrest, officers should be authorized to shoot and to shoot to kill. Remove any “safety factors” from evaders.
I’ll bet that, back in the days of gangs in the cities, cops shot first and at any portion of the perp’s body that was in sight.

Burr, I worked for three departments. Each had the same policy re when to shoot. In each case, we were taught to shoot to stop the threat, NOT to shoot to kill. Our target was, of course, the easiest part to shoot, the upper torso. If, the person being shot dies as a result of the torso shot, well, too bad. There are two simple words that most criminals do not understand. Those words are “stop” and “comply” Evidently this particular criminal was either stupid or deaf. Or both.
So according to the liberal press, we should just leave folks that are running away from the law get away? Criminals are never held accountable for their actions anymore, it’s always “somebody else’s fault” when they do something wrong. Society let them down, they didn’t have a loving home – any excuse to blame anyone (or anything) else for their wrong actions. Our cops are trying to maintain order in an impossible setting – every step they make to maintain order gets criticized as “racist”. The liberals are on a warpath to destroy traditional American values, they see it as a necessity to “transform” to a socialist system. The Democratic party is no longer the Democratic party – they should change their name to reflect who they TRULY are: The Communist Party of Amerika.
The Nail, the democratic party will always get their votes cause most if not all are coming from inner-city ghettos where most everything is FREE. Ghettos such as those in San Francisco, Philadelphia, Oakland, LA, Chicago, Cleveland, Seattle, Detroit, St. Louis, New Orleans, etc, etc, etc. Those voters living in those cities are not gonna jeopardize losing their free stuff.
When Nancy Pelosi blames her hair stylist for “setting he up” and Hillary Clinton gets away with multiple felonies and treasonous behavior, there dosn’t seem to be consequences for the left. Deep State, FBI – Comey, Brennan, Clapper Strouck, Page etc etc., no consequences. Bill barr and John Durham are looking like tremendous disappointments for law abiding, taxpaying citizens of the United States of America!
Black Lives Matter” of course they do, but to me me it is and of itself, a racist statement because it EXCLUDES all other ethnicity’s. Shouldn’t “ALL LIVES MATTER”????. Just for the matter of curiosity, check the TV program “Paternity Suite” if you want to see one of our greatest problems. It has to do with paternity claims trying to be established, who or which is the father. Watch it every day for a few day’s and you will get the picture of why there are proportionately more black crimes than white. Fatherless families trying to survive, by whatever means, work or welfare ?????.
There was a person who had a sign with the all lives matter on it and all most got beat to death. The person was white. That’s really RACIS, right blm.

The serial # will tell the name of the owner but most likely it was stolen. If it belongs to parents then can be arrested for not keeping them locked up. The guns are not to be handled by kids and a teen is a kid.
Sad to say but I wonder how many crimes will not happen because of this?
