Weird RINO Rep. Nancy Mace Goes to Bat For Rep. Ilhan Omar

Breaking News

RINO Rep. Nancy Mace is going to bat for Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Rep. Omar may be being booted off of the House Foreign Affairs Committee over her alleged anti-Semitic statements, but claims that House Speaker Joe McCarthy is just being “racist.”

“There’s a First Amendment in this country. We don’t have to agree with everything that members say,” Mace told Fox News. “I think we have to be very careful about what we are as a constitutional republic.”

Mace claims she is standing against cancel culture by defending the far-left socialist — who surely wouldn’t do the same for a Republican.

“I am not a fan of Ilhan Omar. She’s an anti-Semite. She’s a bigot. She’s a racist. She’s a socialist,” Mace continued. “But that doesn’t mean that we cancel people in this country. Republicans don’t stand for cancel culture. And that’s essentially what this is.”

Though Democrats continuously booted Republicans off committee assignments when they were in control, Mace claimed that doing the same to them “sets a dangerous precedent.”

“There’s so much anti-Semitism in this country. We should be condemning it right and left as we always have, but there’s also the First Amendment right to do that,” she said. “We’re all talking about the Twitter files and conservatives being censored, you know, it’s, it’s, it seems pretty hypocritical if you ask me.”

Mace has previously praised Biden for promising to pardon people with federal convictions for possession of marijuana.

In October, Mace gushed over Biden’s plan during an interview on Fox Business Network’s show Kennedy.

“What do you think about president Biden today pardoning thousands of federal marijuana offenders?” the host asked Mace.

“Well, I want to give credit where credit is due. I don’t always agree with the Biden administration, I’ve been very vocal about that, but this is a step in the right direction. The president wants to pardon people for very simple possession of nonviolent cannabis offenders at the federal level,” Mace said. “And he wants to encourage our governors across the country to do the same, and I think that’s a great first step.”

Mace continued, “I applaud the president. I’m going to give credit where credit is due and agree with him on this position.”

In July, Mace taped a protest sign to her blazer to join the Democrats in condemning her state’s pro-life laws.

The congresswoman’s jacket said “my state is banning EXCEPTIONS, protect CONTRACEPTION.”

Mace previously voted to keep Rep. Liz Cheney in her position in the Republican Party and was one of nine members of the GOP to hold Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress.

The congresswoman also condemned Trump following the protest on January 6.
