The United States Congress shamelessly uses underhanded tactics to push its self-serving agenda on as many of us as possible. Arrogant and ruthless, the snakes on Capitol Hill have a way of keeping dissenters at bay with threats of blackmail and character assassination should anyone step out of line.
During his confirmation hearing, Justice Clarence Thomas found himself in the crosshairs of a congressional witch hunt. Senator Joe Biden sat on the committee tasked with questioning Thomas, and it should be no surprise that Biden was as dumb then as he is today.
