Ocasio-Cortez Infected with COVID, Despite Full Vaccination

Political News

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has tested positive for COVID-19 according to a statement from her office.

“She is experiencing symptoms and recovering at home,” the statement said. “The Congresswoman received her booster this fall and encourages everyone to get their booster and follow CDC guidelines.”

Apparently, the vaccine and a follow-up booster were unable to prevent her from getting infected with the SARS-CoV2 virus that causes COVID-19 – something more people are seeing as the vaccines lose effectiveness. (RELATED: Moderna CEO Pushes 4th Shot Despite Declining Efficacy)

There are real questions about how Cortez got infected despite being fully vaccinated as it is widely expected that vaccines prevent such things. Dr. Anthony Fauci and President Biden have both told the American people repeatedly that if you get vaccinated, you won’t get sick, won’t need a mask, and that you’re helping to flatten the curve.
