Oh, NOW the Lefty ‘View’ Hosts Find GOP’s Jenner a Threat

Political News

Four years ago, The View host hyped a possible Caitlyn Jenner presidential run. Now the liberal hosts see Jenner as a threat to a powerful Democratic governor. Liberal co-host Joy Behar last Friday denounced the reality TV star as an inexperienced Trump stooge. Discussing Jenner’s entry into the California gubernatorial recall race, Joy Behar fumed at the Republican threat to Gavin Newsom: “Reality star Caitlyn Jenner just announced her plans to run for governor. Is she in any way qualified for this job?”

Using Democratic talking points, the host trashed, “She has a very spotty voting record from what I could tell…. Yeah, sunny, he’s got this guy Brad Pascal running his campaign. What do you think about that? I mean that guy was accused of using campaign funds to enrich himself. That’s who is running his campaign or her campaign.”

Quite a contrast to the April 26, 2017 edition of The View where then co-host Jedediah Bila lobbied, “I mean, would you run for office? I’m serious!”

On that show, co-host Whoopi Goldberg demanded Jenner lobby Donald Trump: “What can you say to him that says, ‘Listen. You need to remember. We’re all Americans here.’ How can you help us?” Behar interrogated, “Would you vote for him again? Do you regret voting for him?”

Now that Jenner might threaten total Democratic control of California, expect the hostility to Jenner to grow.
