White House border coordinator Roberta Jacobson announced her resignation on Friday amid Biden’s border crisis.

Jacobson was the former ambassador to Mexico and worked as a coordinator for the southwestern border on the National Security Council.

Roberta Jacobson will officially step down at the end of the month.

Fox News reported:

The Biden administration’s Southern Border coordinator will step down at the end of the month as officials continue to struggle with a large influx of migrants trying to enter the United States.

Roberta Jacobson, the former ambassador to Mexico, was chosen as President Biden’s border czar amid pressure from lawmakers to address what some are calling a “crisis” at the southern border.

“Consistent with her commitment to serve in the administration’s first 100 days, Ambassador Jacobson will retire from her role as Coordinator at the end of this month,” National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said in a statement.

Last month Fox News reporter Peter Doocy got Roberta Jacobson to admit that Trump’s hardliner policies actually stopped illegal immigration while Biden’s policies are encouraging it and creating a surge of illegals.

More than 20,000 unaccompanied minors are in cages at border facilities but the Biden Admin still won’t change course on their immigration policies.
