JUST IN: Maryland Shooter Identified as 38-Year-Old Navy Sailor Fantahun Woldesenbet

There was a shooting Tuesday in Maryland near the US Army Base at Fort Detrick.

The 38-year-old suspect shot two men before he was shot dead.

One victim remains in critical condition and the other victim is being treated and will be released from the hospital tomorrow.

“We can confirm that he is an active member of the Navy at the rank of E4,” Frederick Police Chief Jason Lando said during a presser. “He resides in the city of Frederick, not on the military base and his residence is in the 100 block of Willowdale.”
