A New Hampshire man dressed as Julius Caesar attended a school board meeting to claim that the teachers are causing gender confusion among their students.
As reported by the Daily Caller, Michael Guglielmo told the Concord School District, “I am Caesar. Julius Caesar of Rome, the emperor. I am also a female,” he added.
“Does anybody here believe that? That I am Julius Caesar? Anybody believe that? No, of course not. It’s ridiculous,” Guglielmo continued.
The father continued by calling for the superintendent of the Concord School District to be suspended, along with the principal of Christa McAuliffe Elementary School.
“Your duty is to act in the best interest of children. It is to teach truth, not lies. Facts, not fiction. Biology, not a social agenda,” Gugliemo proclaimed.
“As taxpayers, we deserve to have our children taught what we pay for, and it’s not a social agenda, whether it be right or left,” he added.
According to the National Desk, some in attendance defended the school officials in question, with at least one claiming they attended the school board meeting to “publicly denounce bigotry and hate speech.”
A mother reportedly asserted that the school board has a duty to protect their employees and prevent one’s gender identity from being “weaponized.”
Guglielmo has previously interacted with an art teacher at the Christa McAuliffe school who is a man who dresses as a woman while teaching.
As a result of the interaction with teacher Silas Allard, the father was prohibited from visiting the elementary school. Guglielmo has also claimed that the teacher has made social media posts that are inappropriate for children.
As such, the school placed Allard on leave in order to conduct an investigation, but he has since been allowed to return to teaching.
A spokesperson reportedly told the outlet Crisis in the Classroom that the school district “rejects all forms of hatred and discrimination” and strives to “rejoice” in the diversity of its community.
