EXCLUSIVE: Cop Fired From NYPD For Being Friends With Roger Stone, Filing $25m Lawsuit

Breaking News

Sal Greco, a veteran police officer with 14 years of service to the NYPD, and an unblemished record, has been fired from the police force as a result of a months long departmental review that was conjured up by the mainstream media and liberal politicians earlier this year.

Greco is a longtime friend of Trump advisor Roger Stone and was in Washington DC with Stone on January 5th and 6th. Neither Officer Greco or Mr. Stone were involved in any of the illegal activities that took place on January 6th, they did not attend the speech at the Ellipse or march on the capitol. Both remained in a hotel suite at the Willard.

However, that did not stop progressives in the NYPD and the mainstream media from coming after Greco’s job, simply because he dared to have a friend like Roger Stone.

The kangaroo court did not allow Mr. Greco to call witnesses of his own. In fact, it did not allow him to defend himself in the way we as Americans expect when we are accused of doing something improper or illegal. Being friends with Roger Stone is not a crime, but the NYPD hinged their argument that because Mr. Stone was convicted of a felony (by a biased Obama appointed judge) that he was in violation of department rules stating that active duty NYPD officers cannot associate with convicted felons.

President Trump courageoulsy commuted Stone’s sentence and sham conviction in 2020.

What is interesting about Mr. Greco’s case is that former NYPD Commissioner and now NYC Mayor Eric Adams admitted in his book to providing police protection for convicted felon Mike Tyson while he was a Captain. Adams was investigated, but not terminated like Greco has been.

Sal Greco has been subjected to a politically motivated investigation at NYPD and has been charged with violating NYPD regulations in his friendship with me because it is alleged that I am a “convicted felon.” While my felony conviction is voided by the unconditional Presidential pardon I received, newly elected Mayor Eric Adams has written extensively about providing personal security to convicted felon Mike Tyson when Adams was an NYPD Captain. Once again, we have a two-tiered justice system,” Roger Stone said in a February 28th article on GP.

During the course of the departmental review, Internal Affairs illegally obtained a subpoena for Officer Greco’s cell phone from Verizon Wireless to continue harassing Greco, which GP previously reported.

London grilled Orenstein about a questionable subpoena that was used to obtain Greco’s private cell phone records from Verizon Wireless, which he called “unfair and illegal”.

According to London, the NYPD Internal Affairs Investigators misrepresented evidence to imply that Greco was involved with narcotics simply because he was seen in photographs with Kristin Davis, formerly known as the Manhattan Madam. Davis was convicted in 2014 for distribution drugs. She is a friend of Roger Stone.

In London’s words:

“To get an administrative subpoena for cell phone records you need to show criminality. So they bootstrapped on narcotics based on Kristin Davis’ eight year old conviction, and I think that’s unfair and makes it an illegal subpoena.”

Sadly, none of the stopped the inevitable political persecution and punishment of Officer Greco, who this GP journalist can confirm was fired by the NYPD. Greco spoke to this GP earlier this afternoon and provided the following quote.

Despite an 15 year unblemished career of serving the people of New York as a New York City police officer in some of the most dangerous precincts in the city, I was ostensively terminated because I violated an NYPD regulation which prohibits officers from any association with a convicted felon. The NYPD has characterized my friendship with Roger Stone in this way. New York Police Department captain Eric Adams consorted, by his own admission with both Mike Tyson and Louis Farrakhan, both convicted felons and although there was an investigation, he was not terminated or punished by the NYPD in any way.

Under the law, Eric Adams and I must be treated equally, therefore I will be filing a $25 million lawsuit against the New York Police Department. This lawsuit will expose both the illegal seating of the administrative judge in my case, as well as corruption by the prosecutor in the conduct of my case.

Additionally I will be bringing lawsuits against multiple news outlets that have mischaracterized my relationship with Roger Stone. While he may be a public figure, I am not, and those who have distorted the truth will be held accountable.

The reason that the NYPD is treating me differently in this case is simply because of my support for President Donald Trump and my friendship with Roger Stone.  This action against me is politically motivated and illegal. This unequal treatment will be addressed in the courts.

We sure do hope that Officer Greco holds the NYPD accountable with his upcoming lawsuit. While they spent innumerable hours holding hearings, tens of thousands in taxpayer money conducting their investigation, New York City residents are being shot, stabbed, maimed, or arrested for defending themselves against violent repeat felons who are released immediately (if they are even caught) under the NYC’s cashless bail policies.
