MSNBC Laments Biden Getting Pressured to Be Fiery But Mostly Peaceful With Policy

Breaking News

In the wake of violence that occurred while Americans celebrated the birth of their nation, Morning Joe took their time on Tuesday to lament over the problems that poor President Biden is facing in trying to balance pressure from the left to be fiery, and this promise to be a uniter.

White House Bureau Chief at Politico and Way Too Early host Jonathan Lemire said that Democrats he has talked to “want to hear more fire from this president about guns, about abortion rights, to really be out there and sort of try to connect with the anger in his party.”

Meanwhile, MSNBC senior contributor Eugene Daniels claimed that the American people have seen a “fiery” Biden occasionally. “But,” he continued, “they want it to be continuous. They want to see the President be angry continuously because they want this anger they’re feeling reflected back to them.”

Daniels proceeded to talk about this push for “consistency.” He can get passionate at times, but according to Daniels, Biden “continues to be the Consoler-in-Chief and at time shows anger. But he is also someone who came into the White House saying that he wants to heal the nation.” Being both those things is “the balance that they have to strike.”

This is something that “has been frustrating for Democrats and will continue to be frustrating for Democrats,” stated Daniels, wondering if they’ll ever change their “tone.”

Well, at the rate the Democratic Party has been going, probably not. These people have been catering to the radical left at every turn. With everything going woke, more people are realizing how insane the world is becoming as a result of this “utopia” the left is creating.

There are more level-headed people in this nation than the liberal media is leading on, so to their dismay, it is so far not looking good for the left’s future.

JONATHAN LEMIRE: President Biden took more of a mournful one and took a moment yesterday during the Fourth of July celebrations at the White House to tout again this bipartisan gun legislation which everyone agrees is—you know, on the Democratic side is “hey, that is a good step,” but an incremental one. Then it really didn’t accomplish all that much.

And I’ve been hearing from Democrats the last 24 hours who want to hear more fire from this president about guns, about abortion rights, to really be out there and sort of try to connect with the anger in his party. People you’ve talked to there today, is there any chance we’re going to hear that from the President?

EUGENE DANIELS: Yeah, it—it’s really unclear because you’re right, Jonathan, all of the people that are outside of the administration who work on these issues from abortion to climate change to gun safety, pick your Democrat constituency group, to civil rights to voting rights, they want to see a president of the United States, their President, the guy they put in office be more forceful.

And we’ve seen that at times. And we’ve talked about this, you know, he– something will happen that is very shocking when it comes to—you know the Dobbs decision last week for example and you will see the President talk about that. But they want it to be continuous. They want to see the President be angry continuously because they want this anger they’re feeling reflected back to them. And we’ve talked to folks here, they know that.

They know that the President knows that and it happens from time to time. The question is about the consistency. Why– when there is you know, something that happens that shakes the American public, they want to– Democrats want to see a fighter. And that is something that Joe Biden you know, in all of the years of everybody covering him, his 36 years in the Senate, eight years as vice president, he can get fiery, we’ve seen that happen before. But they have taken the tone they’ve taken is one of a president who continues to be the Consoler-in-Chief and at time shows anger.

But he is also someone who came into the White House saying that he wants to heal the nation, talking about saving the soul of the country, and so that is the balance that they have to strike. It is something that has been frustrating for Democrats and will continue to be frustrating for Democrats as they move into the midterms and beyond. The question is, will a midterm shellacking, as his old boss put it change the tone from this White House consistently on a lot of these issues?
