New York Officials Drop Charges Against 16-Year-Old Rapper C-Blu Who Shot Police Officer

16-year-old Camrin Williams, known as C Blu in the rap world, walked free from jail in January just days after shooting a New York City police officer the previous week.

Camrin Williams was arrested after shooting a police officer in the Bronx on January 18th.

Williams walked free after posting his $250,000 bond on Thursday, January 27.

Earlier in the month “C-Blu” released a video titled “Message Pt.2” on January 2nd where he is filmed flashing a gun.

Teen Rapper C-Blu was released back on the street after shooting a cop and posting bond.

On Friday New York officials dropped charges against the cop-shooter and rapper.

C-Blu is back out on the street.

Charges against a 16-year-old rapper accused of shooting a New York police officer earlier this year have been dropped, according to officials.

The New York City Law Department said in a statement Friday that Camrin Williams, 16, “cannot be prosecuted” but failed to elaborate.

Williams, who goes by the stage name C Blu, was facing charges after he allegedly shot NYPD Officer Kaseem Pennant in the leg in January.

The teenager allegedly accidentally shot Pennant after the two tussled, and Williams attempted to flee. The gun discharged and struck Williams in the groin before exiting his thigh and hitting the officer.
