O’Donnell: GOP Doesn’t Care How Big The Mass Shooting Body Count Gets

Breaking News

For the second night in a row, the vile leftist Lawrence O’Donnell melted down over the fact that Rupert Murdoch dared to create a news channel that doesn’t toe the leftist media line. The worst part of the unhinged rant came at the beginning of O’Donnell’s MSNBC show The Last Word when he accused Murdoch and Republican politicians of not caring how “large the body count gets” in what he describes as “the permanent white supremacist assassination campaign in this country.”

Much like he did on Monday night, O’Donnell blamed Fox News chairman and founder Rupert Murdoch for the shooting at the Buffalo supermarket on Saturday. O’Donnell wailed that no one has profited more from the great replacement theory “lie than billionaire Rupert Murdoch, who has complete and total control over all of the lies pushed on the Fox network that he owns and operates.”

O’Donnell then proceeded to tout Senator Schumer (D-NY) pulling a Harry Reid in writing a letter to the boss of a hugely popular and influential conservative media figure. “New York’s senior Senator Chuck Schumer finally identified the real source of white supremacist propaganda at Fox in addressing a letter directly to Rupert Murdoch,” O’Donnell said proudly before reading a portion of the letter:

Dear Mr. Rupert Murdoch, I write to urge you to immediately cease the reckless amplification of the so-called great replacement theory on your network’s broadcasts. For years these types of beliefs have existed at the fringes of American life. However, this pernicious theory, which has no basis in fact, has been injected into the mainstream, thanks in large part to a dangerous level of amplification by your network and its anchors. A recent New York Times investigation found that Tucker Carlson alone amplified this dangerous and unfounded theory in more than 400 episodes of his show.

After playing a portion of Schumer’s whiny speech on the Senate floor from Tuesday afternoon, O’Donnell jumped headfirst into the gutter and irresponsibly claimed “Rupert Murdoch does not care. Not a bit. Republican politicians do not care how large the body count gets in the permanent white supremacist assassination campaign in this country.” Adding, “they don’t feel a thing.”

Claiming the chairman of a major news network and the Republican Party don’t care how many Americans die from mass shootings is beyond disgusting. The premise of the entire controversy is wrong. The mass shooter behind the tragedy in Buffalo wrote in his manifesto that he thought Fox News was out to get him and specifically attacked Murdoch.

As for the Schumer letter that Murdoch received, he should give it to Tucker Carlson so he can pull a Rush Limbaugh and auction it off for charity.

LAWRENCE O’DONNELL: No one has profited more from that lie than billionaire Rupert Murdoch, who has complete and total control over all of the lies pushed on the Fox network that he owns and operates. This morning before flying to Buffalo on Airforce One with President Biden, New York’s senior Senator Chuck Schumer finally identified the real source of white supremacist propaganda at Fox in addressing a letter directly to Rupert Murdoch. The letter says, dear Mr.

O’DONNELL: Senator Schumer then suggested a direct link between the words that Rupert Murdoch pays Tucker Carlson to say and the words written by the Buffalo mass murderer before he loaded his weapons of war with the intent of murdering as many black people as possible.

(…)

O’DONNELL: They don’t care. Rupert Murdoch does not care. Not a bit. Republican politicians do not care how large the body count gets in the permanent white supremacist assassination campaign in this country. They don’t feel a thing. As the lying and the racist language have become more and more and more extreme on Rupert Murdoch’s TV channel, it has only made Rupert Murdoch richer and richer and richer.
