“From his dad, of course,” Pat said with a tinge of sarcasm.
The video kicked off with Biden recalling how his father used to have an expression. “He used to say that you know your success as a parent when you turn and look at your child and realize they turned out better than you,” Biden said.
Pat paused the video, and with a light-hearted chuckle said that Biden’s dad “must have been a real dirtbag if Joe turned out better than him.”
