Many years ago, I don’t remember the precise date, but many of us spoke to you, and also provided information with supporting evidence, about the dangers of Common Core Curriculum in schools. We also addressed the issues behind liberal university professors; how their marxist beliefs were influencing their students.  These professors are content with creating militant radicals rather then critical thinkers with analytical minds and objective viewpoints. So what does any of this have to do with the takeover we are experiencing today?

The Common Core curriculum was implemented by the Obama Administration and several leftist organizations. Obama seized the moment to push it though without congressional input. Common Core was funded by Bill and Melinda Gates and Linda Darling‑Hammond, an education adviser for Barack Obama’s campaign. The new curriculum caught the attention of many educators because of what it chose to omit.

July 2014:  Parents are beginning to realize the devastating effects of replacing traditional American History with a new, “centrally controlled, and sharply left-leaning curriculum. The College Board, the company that issues the SAT along with the Advanced Placement (AP) exams, together came up with a new History Exam which will force all schools, public and private, to teach U.S. History in an new way.

Prior to the installation of the Common Core Curriculum history was taught in a traditional way, it was based on historical facts with emphasis on America’s founders, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, the Constitution and so on. The new “history” that was implemented as part of Common Core, focused on left-wing ideals such as race, gender, class, ethnicity, etc. The fundamental history of the United States, its founders, and the Constitution were all transformed or omitted entirely in grades k-12.

Questions and concerns arose, not just about the legality but also the content. Those concerns were suppressed by David Coleman, President of the College Board and also the architect of Common Core. As a result, two things happened; 1. American K-12 education was federalized and 2. The content was changed to suit the far left.

US taxpayers spent billions of dollars to train employees and switch to Common Core. Test scores of student have gone down since its instillation. The one thing American children are getting is an abundance of political indoctrination. Obama and the Gates foundation provided and epic failure to American children with the implementation of Common Core. Is it possible that was the plan all along?

In January of this year Betsy DeVo’s asserted Common Core was dead. That statement is completely untrue. Parents can check with your schools to see what, if anything remains of that failed project.

March 2016:  “This past November, the country witnessed a watershed for American student activism at the University of Missouri, now known across the country by its familiar name, Mizzou. In response to a series of racial incidents on campus, protests coordinated by the student activist group ConcernedStudent1950, including a powerful boycott from the university’s Black football players, ended in the resignation of both the president and the chancellor.”[1]

Peaceful protesting in this country is a way of making your voice heard publicly. It is a way solicit change for unjust policies and create reform. The right to protest is protected under the First Amendment which states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Creating activists within the university framework has been on going behind the scenes for years. Many parents had no idea that their children were being indoctrinated and transformed into racial activists; all to the glory of their left-wing professors et.al.

Turning Point USA has established a list of professors who discriminate against conservative students and push their leftist agenda in the classrooms. The website for Turning Point is shown below for anyone who is interested.  ‘TPUSA will continue to fight for free speech and the right of professors to say whatever they believe; however students, parents, and alumni deserve to know the specific incidents and names of professors that advance a radical agenda in our lecture halls.”[2]

Robby Soave, an alumnus of Students for Liberty, talks about college professors who tend to be more to the left then average Americans. He said, “Most people know that professors are more left-leaning than the average American: what they might not realize is that so many professors teach from an explicitly Marxist perspective or at the very least apply critical theory to the subject they teach.” Although there are no recent and reliable figures on the extent to which socialism has become entrenched in America’s educational institutions, Soave cites a study from 2007: According to the study, while only 3% of all college professors define themselves as Marxists, in some subjects, such as sociology, as many as one in four professors are self-described Marxists.” [3]

According to a study done by the National Association of Scholars Forty percent of the top rated liberal arts colleges have zero professors that are republican. Another study done finds liberal professors outnumbered conservatives almost 12 to 1. (Econ Journal Watch).

Many of the rioters you see today are products of the environment you have just read about.  It began with Common Core and ended at the University. Decades of educational indoctrination, combined with Hollywood, t.v., the breakdown of family morals and value are all contributing factors for what you have before you today with Antifa, et.al.
