As corporate America continues to pander to violent left-wing mobs, Fox Business’s Charles Payne expressed major concern about what this trend could mean for conservatives in the workplace.

The Making Money with Charles Payne host took to Twitter June 28 to express his concern about the Marxist pandering he saw coming from the corporate world. Payne questioned: “Does anyone else see where corporate activism is heading?” Payne continued: “While many cos jumping on [the] bandwagon for ‘get out of jail’ for their own failures the slippery slope has [a] clear destination. One day conservatives will have to hide their beliefs to get hired and promoted at large corps.” [Emphasis added.]

Payne’s sobering prediction follows a recent segment on his Fox Business show. The segment analyzed how multiple companies have joined a leftist effort to get businesses to boycott Facebook ad spending. The reason? Leftist groups pushing the boycott claimed Facebook “allowed incitement to violence against protesters fighting for racial justice in America.”

During a June 26 segment of his show, Payne said that businesses like Unilever and Verizon were taking their cues from left-wing organizations like “the Anti-Defamation League, the NAACP, which, by the way, last week, they both called for a boycott.” Payne called this the “ultimate form of corporate activism,” and said, “I think it comes with a lot of risk.” [Emphasis added.]

 

Interviewing District Media Group President Beverly Hallberg, Payne expressed concern over Facebook’s already explicit left-wing bias: “I just saw a piece a couple of days ago where one of the Facebook moderators says if someone’s wearing a MAGA hat — if someone is wearing a MAGA hat, they consider that to be hate speech and they’re gonna delete them.” Payne continued:So, they’re getting into really treacherous territory if they consider that hate speech but they cannot be clear on so many things that are obvious hate speech.”

Payne later asked Hallberg about the potential tidal wave effect that major companies like Verizon and Unilever might have on other companies that are still holding out on their Facebook ad spending. Payne asked: “Unilever and Verizon — Could that put pressure on blue chip companies to follow their lead, at least temporarily?”

Hallberg responded:

“I think it does usher the way for people to feel pressure by the mob. There is this mob mentality right now, where people feel like they have to say something.’”

Payne’s profound comment on Twitter seems to suggest that adopting the Marxist mob mentality may be a precondition for gaining employment (or staying employed) in companies that have engaged in these recent leftist strains of corporate activism.

The American people should all heed Payne’s warning, and the silent majority needs to wake up.

The leftist “Stop Hate for Profit” campaign is actively working to coerce companies to boycott their ad spending on Facebook. See the list of companies that have catered to the campaign’s agenda, contact their corporate offices, and tell them to stop supporting the left’s Orwellian agenda.
