The Washington Post has a new fact checking book out and they want you to know it’s SERIOUS. The advertisement in the May 22 edition of the paper screamed, “The essential, authoritative record of Trump’s shocking disregard for facts.” In case that was too subtle, the book is entitled, “Donald Trump and His Assault on TRUTH.”

The text for the ad, which ran in the Weekend section of the paper, hyped, “A compendium of mendacity featuring every exaggeration, specious misstatement and flagrant falsehood since the first day of the Trump presidency, compiled by The Washington Post’s Fact Checker staff.”

With those impressive sounding credentials, this has got to be the book where all the information is bullet proof as a contrast for “Trump’s shocking disregard for facts.”
